Actually I’m totally opposed to the ridiculously high levels of unsaturated (plant) fats that Dr. Young recommends. To me the science is clear, aim for maximum 10% of calories as fat.

Fill a barrel with fresh fruits and vegetables. Scoop out any 5 items from the barrel, and you’ll eat the perfect ratio of 80% carbohydrates, 10% proteins and 10% fats.

We don’t need science and theories and clinicians doing crazy things. We need common sense! When you look at a fruit tree in full bloom, isn’t it clear we are meant to eat fresh fruit?

Alkaline Water & Weight Loss

Weight loss is a common free bonus of drinking alkaline water. Sang Whang writes in Reverse Aging:

“Over a period of two years, I lost pounds without any diets or exercises. I had to reduce my pants waist lines about 2 inches. The clothes that I bought 15 years ago fit me perfectly.
